Throughout the last months Essity employees in Moscow, Vienna, Kosice, Kiev, Athens, Budapest, Bucharest and Dubai have undertaken a series of team-uniting running events to promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate that we are now Essity.
The aim with the pan-EEMEA run is to promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate that we are now Essity. With all of the races run, we checked in with some of the runners to hear how it went!
"It was amazing to run through Vienna´s beautiful downtown during the night as Team Essity. We had a lot of fun together and it was a great opportunity to mingle with colleagues with whom we usually do not work closely together. Let´s repeat in 2018!" says Dora Beregszaszi, Customer Marketing Analyst EEMEA.
"We, the Essity team, arrived at the marathon meeting point in Bucharest on a beautiful Sunday morning, surrounded by lots of energy, colorful t-shirts and the amazing spirit of 10.000 runners. We started the run having a common goal: to run our best and to run as a TEAM! Four of us accomplished the 42 km together and one of our colleagues broke her personal record by running 21 km for the very first time. We were proud to represent Essity and we had a lot of fun and it helped us bound as Essity human beings, not just as Essity employees. Thank you Essity for making this wonderful day happen!" adds Alina Parvu, Assistant to Commercial Director & Market & Product Support Director.
I can hardly describe the atmosphere of the race, I had such a great time! When you stand on the start line – surrounded by your colleagues – you get an extra shot of adrenaline, knowing that you will be motivated by them through the whole race. It was a very nice experience to run together as one Essity team," ends Annamária Taskóné Nagy, Supply Service Clerk Transport Planning.
At Essity, we are extremely proud of the commitment of our runners and athletes to a healthy living and teamwork. Keep up the great work! Want to see the runners in action? Check out all their amazing efforts in our Facebook album!
