In line with our sustainability ambitions to reduce environmental footprints for our solutions, we have set new targets for packaging. We will work towards 100% recyclability and 85% renewable or recycled materials in our packaging by 2025. During 2020, the company’s packaging for hygiene and health products comprised approximately 77% renewable or recycled material.
As most of our packaging is made from paper which is already made from renewable or recycled fiber, we are now focusing on plastic, so we will work towards ensuring that our plastic packaging will comprise of 25% recycled plastic by 2025.
These targets are in line with our commitment to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's plastic initiative "A line in the sand" and help contribute to our sustainability ambition: to improve the well-being of people every day and reduce the environmental footprint of our solutions.
