At Essity we source based on the best total value offered to supply the goods and services. Best total value is driven by business needs and includes components such as total cost of ownership, quality of goods or services, supplier responsiveness and speed-to-market.

We believe that an open and transparent relationship, between us and our suppliers, is key to secure a successful business and to deliver on our strategic ambitions. A close collaboration built on mutual trust, accountability and respect enables both us and our suppliers to achieve business objectives in a faster and better way.

In Essity we know that our suppliers play an important role in the work to continuously develop and deliver new innovative and sustainable products, services, and solutions. We expect our suppliers to actively contribute to the innovation generation, value creation and sustainability ambitions so that we together can break barriers for well-being that benefits our customers, consumers, and our planet. 

We expect our suppliers to know their own business as well as their suppliers and subcontractors by having procedures in place and regularly monitor performance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It is of highest importance that our suppliers assess risks relating to their industry, products, and workforce and stay up to date on the laws, regulations, and industry best practices. As a supplier, you should actively manage and mitigate risks related to your business with Essity.
