Essity recognized as industry leader in Global Child Forum’s “The State of Children’s Rights and Business 2021”.

Essity has been recognized as industry leader in the international report “The State of Children’s Rights and Business 2021” by Global Child Forum. The report aims to assess the degree to which children’s rights have been addressed and integrated in a meaningful way by a company.

Essity performed extra well in areas such as preventing child labor, working conditions, family friendly policies, board accountability, materiality assessment, supplier assessment and collaborations. The assessment was carried out by the Boston Consulting Group.

The Global Child Forum is a Swedish non-profit foundation that brings together thought leaders and influencers from business, civil society, academia and government in order to spur action for social change around children’s rights. It was initiated by H.M. the King and H.M. the Queen of Sweden in 2009 as part of their long-standing commitment to children’s issues.
