Responsible sourcing ensures that the raw materials we use, especially fresh wood‑based fibers, come from legal, ethical, and sustainably managed forests. Guided by Essity’s Fresh Wood‑based Fiber Procurement Policy, we require suppliers to follow responsible forest management, avoid unacceptable fiber sources, and hold certifications such as FSC or PEFC.  We work with suppliers through audits, traceability checks, and continuous improvement to increase certified fiber content and support transparent, sustainable supply chains.
