Collaboration expectations

Two woman office collaboration

Competitiveness & continuous improvements

As a supplier to Essity, you are expected to continuously improve your products, services, and capabilities to deliver value and remain competitive. We have high ambitions for operational efficiency and service excellence, and achieving these ambitions requires suppliers who share the same commitment to continuous improvement. At Essity, sourcing decisions are based on overall value. This includes factors such as total cost of ownership, quality, supplier responsiveness, speed to market, and the ability to meet business needs.

Collaboration, trust & transparency

We believe that open and transparent relationships with our suppliers are essential to long-term success and delivering on our strategic ambitions. Close collaboration built on trust, accountability, and respect enables both Essity and our suppliers to achieve business objectives more effectively.

Man Woman Lab

Foster sustainable innovation

At Essity, we recognize that suppliers play an important role in helping us innovate and create value. We expect our suppliers to contribute expertise, innovation, and continuous improvement that support our business ambitions and sustainability goals. Together, we can develop solutions that improve hygiene and health and create meaningful value for customers, consumers, and society.

Understand and manage risk

We expect suppliers to understand their own operations as well as those of their suppliers and subcontractors, and to have processes in place to regularly monitor performance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Suppliers must assess risks related to their industry, products, and workforce, and stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Suppliers are also expected to actively manage and mitigate risks related to their business relationship with Essity.

Payment conditions

Our suppliers must comply with Essity's payment terms. Your Procurement contact will provide details once you are registered as a supplier. For invoicing and payment-related questions, see the related links.
