If you have not had any previous transactions with an Essity legal entity, please visit our New suppliers page. New suppliers need an invitation from Essity to start the onboarding process through the Ariba Network, the platform we use to collaborate with suppliers.
Qualification/certification is only available for our Direct material Suppliers (who supply raw materials and bought-in finished goods).
The primary purpose of the re-qualification process is to support information gathering and documentation updates to help ensure Essity's supply requirements are met, for example, through updated ISO certificates.
As part of the re-qualification process, existing suppliers must first be re-onboarded in the system. During re-onboarding, suppliers create an SAP Ariba Network account, which is required for collaboration with Essity through Ariba, and complete a limited-response questionnaire.
Once suppliers are successfully registered with Essity, they may be invited to complete re-qualification. The Essity contact will send a system-generated invitation, which the supplier completes through their SAP Ariba Network account.
GMS (Global Management System) is the platform Essity Global Procurement uses to manage supplier audits.
The GMS solution supports activities between Essity and suppliers related to audit planning and preparation, communication of audit results, and follow-up activities that drive improvement. At Essity, this follow-up process is referred to as a CAPA Plan (Corrective and Preventive Action Plan).
