Learn how to get started as a new supplier and navigate the onboarding process with Essity. New suppliers must be invited by Essity to begin the onboarding process through SAP Ariba.
Suppliers that have not had any transactions with an Essity legal entity within the past 18 months are considered new suppliers. If your organization has conducted business with an Essity legal entity within the past 18 months, please refer to the Direct material suppliers or Indirect procurement suppliers sections. The onboarding process for new suppliers consists of three stages: registration, qualification, and enablement. These activities are managed through the SAP Ariba Network, the platform Essity uses to collaborate with suppliers.
The qualification process applies only to direct material suppliers, including suppliers of raw materials and purchased finished goods.

All new suppliers to Essity will complete a verification process that includes, for example, compliance to our “GSS” Global Supplier Standard.
For suppliers that deliver raw material or bought-in-finished goods, to Essity Production sites, further qualification is required.
