Electrical Specialist
The Electrical Specialist is an expert for the technology within the working area. They are responsible for programming, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. They contribute to maintenance Key Performance Indicators and are accountable for the budget. They assure safety & legal compliance on maintenance works and drive “Run to standard” culture and assure the teams to work to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs, SAP-PM…). The Electrical Specialist contributes to the implementation of the Maintenance Roadmap based on the Site Strategy. They drive behavior to go back to basic standard condition and defining basic standard condition.
Main accountabilities and responsibilities

Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards in all electrical work.
Point of expertise in developing the Electrical Maintenance Journey in own working area.
Drives the Vision of Zero stops & Zero Breakdowns philosophy, minimizes unplanned stops using the right maintenance strategies.
Owns the process of breakdown elimination, the Maintenance key performance indicators (e.g. Maintenance budget, Defect trend, Breakdowns/ton or pieces, Unplanned/planned Maintenance downtime etc.)
Accountable for the maintenance Budget in their working area.
Analyses & develops necessary electrical maintenance skills in the team.
Owns the maintenance management information system (incl. Technical Database, SAP, CIL system etc.) for his/her working area & uses the Best-Practices in an efficient way + suggesting new Best-Practices.
Owns & develops the quality standards (e.g. SOPs) for maintenance.
Contributes to and implements development plans on electrical assets: maintenance investments, sustainability plan, spare-part working capital reduction etc.
Monitors and assesses the performance of electrical systems to identify areas for improvement
Experience and qualification requirements
Time-served Electrical Technician with a completed recognised electrical apprenticeship
Previous work experience in related field
Leadership experience preferred
