Line Leader Conveyors

The Line Leader is ultimately responsible for the operation results of typically one converting/production line and/or ~20 employees (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale - SQCDM).

Main accountabilities and responsibilities (including I Care) 

  • An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.

  • Leads the operators on the line 

  • Responsible for the application (and development if needed) of systems and standards (work instructions, procedures for safety, quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Excellence Best Practice,…) 

  • Responsible for the fulfilment of the maintenance plan (including cost) 

  • Contributes to the achievement of the site’s  Compelling Business Need (CBN) and communicates it to the line 

  • Develops line objectives aligned with site and unit needs and cascades goals down to the team 

  • Ensures the line delivers required production orders according to spec, in time and on cost 

  • Ensures line works to standards (Safety, Quality, Daily Direction Setting (DDS), …)  

  • Accountable for the Line’s Operational Budget 

  • Identifies CAPEX needs to support midterm plans 

  • Executes onboarding processes and facilitates continuous learning for the team

  • Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education at their line  

Experience and qualification requirements 

  •  University degree preferred  

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience

  • Leadership experience preferred
