At Essity we are looking for our Sales Manager Professional Hygiene, responsible for plan, direct, and monitor the activities of the sales team within a specified geography, product line, market segment or list of accounts to identify business opportunities and secure achievement of established sales targets according to defined sales processes and strategy. Your main goal will be to develop the Professional Hygiene market in Chile.

In this role you will report to the Commercial Director Professional Hygiene for South Latam, with 7 direct reports.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, direct and develop the respective sales organisation in terms of its structure, people and performance to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness (including personal feedback & development).

  • Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

  • Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team (in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy) for an assigned geography, channel, and/or customers.

  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem/opportunities areas and adapt procedures.

  • Allocate resources according to up-to-date customer categorization to improve the overall performance of the sales team.

  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.

  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans/strategies for area of responsibility.

  • Responsible for customer profitability.

  • Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to overall decision making.

Who You Are

  • A professional with experience and profile to assume a management position, with more than 6 years in similar functions in B2B companies.

  • Proficiency in English will be critical to the successful development of the position

  • Experience in building and leading multicultural teams.

  • P&L management is a must for this role

  • High analytical capacity, holistic vision and order.

  • Persevering and managing multiple variables.

  • Global vision and good level of numerical precision.
