About the Role
Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager for our distribution center in Conover, NC.

What You Will Do
- Lead and oversee all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective performance.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP), company policies, and operational standards.
- Plan and manage staffing levels, equipment, and material resources to meet operational demands and departmental objectives.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities in a safe, clean, and operationally efficient condition; recommend capital improvements and replacements as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across distribution and warehouse functions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Support talent management processes, including interviewing, hiring recommendations, performance reviews, employee development, disciplinary actions, and workforce scheduling.
- Monitor and ensure order accuracy, productivity, and service quality meet or exceed established performance standards.
- Provide leadership support and act as backup to the Site Manager as required.
- Develop, implement, and enforce warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and best practices.
- Actively manage daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks, projects, and objectives within budget constraints.
- Provide consistent leadership presence, ensuring professionalism, operational continuity, and team engagement at all times.
- Oversee warehouse housekeeping, maintenance, and asset protection to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Manage inventory control processes for warehouse consumables, including forecasting, procurement, and usage tracking.
- Maintain flexibility in work schedule to support operational needs, including off-shift or extended hours as required.
- Perform additional operational, administrative, and project-based responsibilities as assigned.
- Lead, coach, and develop outbound leadership teams (Coordinators and Supervisors) to drive performance and engagement.
- Partner in the development, implementation, and enforcement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Champion cost reduction and efficiency initiatives across the facility.
- Support ISO audit activities, including preparation, documentation, and execution.
- Coordinates warehouse maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Execute procurement activities for warehouse supplies, including vendor coordination, sourcing, and order management.
- Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI) to monitor performance, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a psychologically safe environment that encourages open communication, trust, and continuous feedback.
Who You Are
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse/distribution setting;
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred;
- Strong safety awareness and experience;
- SAP preferred or similar large ERP experience;
- Strong financial acumen;
- Strong continuous improvement background (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred;
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and psychological safety;
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, or regulated operations preferred;
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.
