About the Role

As Global Insights Excellence Lead, you will play a pivotal global role in shaping how insights create value across Essity.

This role is about defining and enabling the system in which high‑quality insights can be consistently generated and effectively leveraged.

You will operate at a strategic level to design frameworks, governance models, and ways of working that align stakeholders and drive comparability across markets. Acting as a senior connector and enabler, you will ensure that insights are not only produced—but understood, trusted, and embedded in decision-making.

What You Will Do

  • Methodology Standardization: Design, standardize, and continuously improve global insights methodologies and frameworks across B2C and B2B categories.

  • KPI Framework Ownership: Define and govern a global KPI framework, ensuring aligned definitions, reporting principles, and consistent interpretation across markets.

  • Insight Translation: Establish a common language for insights, creating templates, taxonomies, and reporting principles that improve clarity and comparability.

  • Governance & Ways of Working: Establish governance models that clarify decision rights, roles, and responsibilities across global, regional, and market teams.

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a strategic partner and alignment driver across senior stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and consistent use of insights.

  • Capability Building: Build capability and drive adoption of standards through coaching, guidance, and best‑practice sharing across teams.

  • Leadership & Change: Lead managers and teams through transformation, fostering a culture of consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, analytics, social sciences, or similar.

  • Extensive experience of 10+ years in insights, analytics, or insights excellence roles, ideally within FMCG or complex, matrixed organizations, with exposure to both agency and in‑house environments.

  • Strong expertise in developing global methodologies, KPI frameworks, governance models, and scalable ways of working across diverse markets.

  • A confident leader and influencer with strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, able to translate complexity into clear direction.

  • Advanced English proficiency, enabling effective collaboration in a global role.
