About the Role
As a Lead Identity Governance & Administration Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing Essity’s Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilities. Working within our Information Security organization, you will help design, implement, and optimize identity governance solutions that improve security, support compliance, and enhance the employee experience.
You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders across the organization, driving identity lifecycle management, access governance, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading IGA technologies and influence how identity security evolves within a global company.
What You Will Do
Identity Governance Leadership: Drive the development and continuous improvement of enterprise Identity Governance & Administration capabilities.
Saviynt Platform Management: Act as a key expert for the Saviynt platform, ensuring effective configuration, optimization, and governance.
Application Integration: Design and support integrations between identity governance solutions and key enterprise systems, including HR, directory services, cloud platforms, and business applications.
Access Governance: Lead access certification campaigns, role management initiatives, and entitlement governance activities to strengthen security and compliance.
Identity Lifecycle Management: Improve and automate joiner, mover, leaver (JML) processes across the organization.
Security & Compliance: Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance efforts, and implementation of identity-centric security controls.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Information Security, Infrastructure, HR, Application Owners, and business teams to deliver effective identity governance solutions.
Who You Are
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), including implementing and operating enterprise-scale identity governance solutions in global, complex environments, hands-on Saviynt experience is highly valued.
Strong expertise in Identity Governance, Access Certifications, RBAC, Entitlement Management, Identity Lifecycle Management (JML), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and Access Request & Approval workflows.
A collaborative and proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of ownership, and the ability to build relationships across business and IT stakeholders. Fluent English communication skills are required.
