Essity is a global leader in the production of tissue products and hygiene and health solutions. As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, the company is carrying out a major digitalization and optimization program for the maintenance management of its production assets. The goal is to increase operational efficiency, improve intervention traceability, and enhance the sustainability of maintenance activities. For our Collodi (Pescia) facility, part of the PLD (Private Label) division, we are looking for a candidate to join us for a 6‑month curricular or extracurricular internship, starting in April. The project involves defining and implementing a maintenance structure within SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) for the paper mill production line. The objective is to improve maintenance management, optimize preventive planning, and ensure greater traceability and control of technical interventions.
What You Will Do
Analyze the paper mill production line and its main components.
Map current maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, predictive).
Define the functional hierarchy and Technical Objects in SAP PM.
Map recurring maintenance activities and create Task Lists.
Define maintenance cycles and Maintenance Plans.
Enter and configure data within the SAP PM system.
Perform testing and validation of the implemented structure.
Support and train operators on the use of the system.
Monitor results and gather user feedback.
Propose continuous improvement and optimization initiatives
Who You Are
A student or soon‑to‑graduate in Engineering or related technical fields.
Interested in industrial maintenance, process digitalization, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a problem‑solving attitude.
Team‑oriented, with good communication skills when interacting with technical and operational departments.
