About the Role
Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Process Lead located at our manufacturing facility in Neenah, WI.
The Logistics Process Lead is one of the key positions of the Shipping department. The position responsible for the operation results and development of employees on shift and is the interface between management and staff and must have business interests in mind.

What You Will Do

Responsible for the safety performance of employees and serves as a role model. Leads efforts that promote a safe work culture. Identifies and corrects safety hazards and unsafe acts. Confronts unsafe acts and takes timely and appropriate action. Has daily contact with employees regarding safety.
Responsible for overall performance including productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost control. Establishes priorities and encourages continuous improvement following zero loss flowchart to solve problems. Identifies needs and measures items that impact productivity. Ensures the collection and right reporting of performance KPIs
Proactively work with and support the department structure and actively engage with the operators.
Communicates expectations to employees and evaluates performance, such as customer complaints and internal resupply feedback. Communicates matters of importance with supervisor, peers, and others on the management team as necessary. Shares knowledge and ensures the transfer in the team
Enforces and administers consistent application of all company policies. Ensures the team works to standards. Participates in the selection process and the development of new employees
Coaches and trains employees to improve skills, and to stimulate individual growth in relation to achievement of objectives. Assures the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate in the team.
Builds relationships with employees, and creates an environment which promotes and supports open communication, creative thinking and cohesive teamwork
Assign customer pick up, less than truckload, and parcel shipments
Inventory management for supplies and finished goods
Who You Are
Completed formal education in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain, or equivalent related experience in Shipping and/or manufacturing logistics
Experience in a leadership role within manufacturing or logistics is preferred
Strong coaching skills
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions, as well as handle conflict and confrontation
Good planning, organizing and prioritizing skills
Mechanical trouble-shooting skills
Knowledge and experience using logistics and manufacturing best practices and applied improvement processes
