People Experience Manager
About the Role
As People Experience Manager for our Reynosa site, you will be a strategic partner to site leadership, bringing Essity’s People strategy to life locally. This is a hands-on, influential role where you will support leaders and teams across the full employee lifecycle—ensuring strong performance, healthy industrial relations, organizational effectiveness, and full compliance with labor law, internal policies, and our Code of Conduct. Working closely with global and regional Centers of Excellence, you will deliver practical, commercially focused People solutions that support both business results and a great employee experience.
What You Will Do
- Partner with local leaders to provide expert support across performance management, talent practices, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
- Support site development activities, organizational and structural changes, and data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to people and remuneration topics.
- Manage local industrial relations and advise leaders on Mexican labor law, collective agreements, and People policies to ensure compliance and constructive employee relations.
- Equip managers with tools, knowledge, and coaching to effectively lead their teams across performance, talent, career development, and capability building.
- Provide guidance to line management on local HR policies, programs, and practices, coordinating with specialist CoE functions when needed.
- Lead hire to retire processes in coordination with Talent Acquisition when applicable, and own onboarding plans, activities, follow-up, and overall new-hire experience.
- Support site management to ensure full adherence to Essity’s Code of Conduct, internal policies, and regulations, acting as a role model for integrity and ethics.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Solid Human Resources experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including industrial relations, leadership and capability development, talent acquisition, and compensation & benefits.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor regulations, collective bargaining frameworks, and experience managing personnel costs, budgets, and people-related data.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across all organizational levels, challenge senior leaders constructively, and work effectively in complex, cross-cultural matrix organizations.
- High integrity standards. Role model in business ethics and compliance.
- Fluent in English and native-level Spanish.
