About the Role
In this role, you will lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of our Customer Credit team, supporting markets across the Americas and South Europe. You will ensure agreed services are delivered accurately and on time, while fostering strong collaboration across a diverse, matrix organization.
Acting as both a people leader and a subject-matter expert, you will play a key role in driving quality, consistency, and continuous improvement within Customer Credit Management.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate daily credit management activities to ensure accurate, ethical, and consistent execution aligned with Essity standards and external regulations.
Operational Excellence: Secure timely and high-quality delivery of agreed services, proactively addressing deviations and more complex credit-related enquiries.
Process Improvement: Contribute to and drive continuous improvements within your area of responsibility to strengthen efficiency and service quality.
People Development: Coach, mentor, and support team members through day-to-day supervision, performance feedback, and development discussions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build close cooperation across finance, customer service, and other functional units within the matrix organization.
Audit & Compliance Support: Support internal and external audits and contribute to resolving audit findings in a structured and compliant manner.
Governance & Ethics: Ensure all activities are conducted in line with Essity policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or an equivalent field.
3–5 years of experience in Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Controlling, or Accounts Payable with prior people leadership experience.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA preferred), with experience using Office 365, Workday, or other ERP systems considered an advantage.
A proactive and adaptable team player with strong people management, change leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Spanish is an advantage.
