My most memorable experience
One of the most memorable experiences in my career was participating as a guest auditor in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It opened my eyes to how different cultures approach work and life. I believe that when you experience something new, you become a better person. You bring those insights back to your team, and that’s how you help shape a culture people want to be part of. I have always felt that sharing those experiences, not keeping them to myself, is how we build a stronger, more connected organization. That same mindset drives my passion for sustainability.
Innovations that matter
At Essity, I have had the privilege of working with products that truly make a difference. I work with Tork, the number one away-from-home hygiene brand globally. Tork is focused on professional hygiene, not consumer products. We serve commercial offices, higher education, healthcare, restaurants, and manufacturing facilities with a wide range of solutions. From towel and tissue systems to soaps, sanitizers, wipers, air care, and napkins.
One of the innovations I’m proud to talk about is Tork PeakServe, our continuous towel system. It’s designed to dispense towels one at a time, which reduces waste and improves hygiene. But it goes further the towels are certified compostable, and the dispenser itself is carbon neutral. That means we are not just creating convenience; we are reducing our environmental footprint.
We have also developed coreless bath tissue systems that eliminate the need for both inner cardboard rolls and outer packaging. That’s less material, less waste, and fewer trucks on the road. Every detail - from packaging to sourcing - has been considered with sustainability in mind. And when I see how these innovations help our customers meet their own environmental goals.
Driving sustainable sale
One example that truly demonstrates the power of sales at Essity is our success with having business in six out of the top ten airports in the U.S. Winning this business has been a proud moment, not just because of the scale, but because of the impact we’re making.
Some of the airports adopted Tork PeakServe and our Tork Vision Cleaning technology, a digital solution that allows staff to monitor dispensers remotely and refill only when needed. This transformed their cleaning operations, making them more efficient and freeing up time for other tasks. It’s a clear example of how our solutions don’t just meet hygiene needs, they help customers optimize resources, improve the traveler experience, and even drive revenue by encouraging people to stay longer and engage more.
This win reflects what I love about working in sales at Essity: we’re not just selling products, we’re delivering innovation that makes a real difference.
Living our values
But sustainability isn’t just something I talk about at work, it’s something I live.
Working at Essity has also changed how I think about my own habits. At home, we recycle as much as we can. I have switched to using a Tork reusable cup to avoid single-use plastics. I drive a hybrid car, and while it’s not fully electric, it’s a step toward reducing emissions. These choices may seem small, but they add up. And when I share my journey with others - whether it’s colleagues, friends, or family - I hope it inspires them to think differently too.
I believe that when you work for a company with strong values, those values become part of who you are. At Essity, we don’t just talk about sustainability, we live it. We innovate with purpose, and we grow through the impact we make.

It is about being a passionate advocate for products that truly make a difference. As a salesperson, I see firsthand how our solutions improve lives and support sustainability across the globe. We reach over a billion people every day, and with that reach comes responsibility: to create access, raise awareness, and drive innovation.
