Essity has been named amongst Europe’s Top 5 Diversity Leaders 2026 by the Financial Times, and for the first time, has been selected as a 2025 Impact Sourcing Top Global Champion by WEConnect International.
These awards show that when DEI is fully embedded in corporate culture, it becomes a valuable business asset.
“We believe that embracing different perspectives and fostering an environment where everyone is included and engaged drives innovation and strengthens our performance. When people and partners are empowered to contribute fully, it leads to better decision-making, deeper understanding of our customers, and more robust supply chains. These awards are a testament to the dedication of our teams around the world who live these principles every day”, said Ulrika Kolsrud, President and CEO of Essity.
Essity ranked #5 by Financial Times among “Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2026”
The ranking is based on an independent survey of over 100,000 employees across 16 European countries and multiple industries. Participants evaluated their employers on diversity dimensions including gender, age, ethnicity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and disability.
The methodology notably gives greater weight to the perspectives of underrepresented groups, ensuring a more inclusive and representative assessment. Essity’s highest-ever ranking out of 800 companies evaluated highlights its strong culture of belonging and its proactive efforts to create an environment where everyone can thrive.
