About the Role

Attached to the SouthWest Marketing Director, you will lead the media, digital and AI strategy for the region and be in charge of a team of 7 people.

What You Will Do

Provide Media & Digital Expertise

  • Provide expertise and vision on media and digital trends including pushing and supporting of the company’s AI initiative within the Region.

  • Supervise A&P budget management across the region

  • Lead issue of regional reports that provide understanding of markets performance in Media/Digital for regional management and Business Unit (BU) Media/Digital network

  • Gather best-practices, learning, ensure it implementation in all marketing activities

  • Set-up digital roadmaps and action plans based on country brand/business objectives and global digital guidelines

  • Search for new channels/technologies/opportunities for business unit’s brands to have innovative and best in class presence in Digital, Test & Learn new opportunities in Digital

  • Support marketing team in planning, developing and execution of any media and digital activities

Drive Media and Digital business processes

  • Lead regional media planning process alongside the business wheel, ensure the planning is done according to the company’s Media Guidelines and Sufficiency principles, ensure budget flexibility within year

  • Lead annual commitments (TV deals), ensure on-going optimization of media/digital plans and buying based on learnings, ROI studies, best practices.

Develop AI roadmap for the region

  • Identify top business priorities (not only marketing) with AI as key enabler

  • Work in close collaboration with global teams on key AI developments

Manage Media/Digital Agencies

  • Establish the same way of working for Media/Digital Agencies across region

  • Evaluate the service level​ of Agencies, support markets to improve it, develop action plan if needed

  • Support Agencies with delivering Buying efficiency ​

  • Support/Lead media and digital pitches if needed

Build Digital Capabilities

  • Support marketing team based on 70/20/10 model including needed trainings

  • Drive, at regional level and in collaboration with business unit lead, the implementation of the company’s data strategy

  • Develop Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business growth in collaboration with business unit teams and with other D2C regional leads

  • Ensure digital technology (CDP, MMM…) roll out and appropriation inside the full marketing team at regional level

  • Be an active member of the AI initiative led by business unit team

  • Drive collaboration between Digital/E-commerce

Support Global/BU projects roll-out

  • Roll-out and support further usage of Global/BU projects and tools

  • Digital/eCommerce expertise sharing

Who You Are

  • University Degree in Marketing/Business

  • 10+ years of Media and digital marketing experience working in a regional and/or local role, FMCG work experience is an advantage

  • Passionate about digital and data-driven strategies, with a keen grasp of AI, MarTech solutions, and navigating a cookie-less landscape

  • Proven record of managing complex projects

  • Strong analytical skills, proficient working with numbers

  • Leadership and Communication: A purpose-driven leader adept at motivating international teams and excelling in top-tier communication.

  • Strategic Relationships: Diplomatic and trustworthy, with a knack for managing complex stakeholder relationships and organizational intricacies.

  • Cultural Acumen and Proven Success: Demonstrated success in media negotiations, brand management across markets, and cross-cultural collaboration within a matrix structure.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
