Safety Support Analyst
About the Role

What You Will Do
- To comply and follow up the RESH KPI's: TRI Cases - Minor Accident - Environmental Incidents - BOS - Near Miss - Insurance Action Plan.
- Preventively evaluate the risks in your area and apply corrective measures.
- Advise the areas of the company so that the design and purchase of equipment, materials and tools comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Provide support in the development of safe, practical and understandable work procedures for users.
- Lead the building of safety and environmental competencies and knowledge.
- Make monthly accident reports and share them with other areas of the company.
- Support in the evaluation of risks in machinery and in the resulting plans.
- Maintain work plan with compliance indicators to achieve the safety objectives set by the areas.
- Perform twice a week safety inspections and observations, reporting the results to the area leader, making sure that all observations are entered into the Gensuite system, with subsequent follow-up of the safety performance.
- Implement the training program for the area and lead its execution.
- Lead the compliance of global safety standards in Essity's enablers (Sher audits).
- Conduct a daily walk-through of the facility to detect unsafe actions or conditions, which will be recorded for follow-up corrective actions.
- Support the investigation to be carried out by the Area Leaders for any incident, and follow up on the closure of corrective actions arising from them.
- Disseminate alerts of local or global incidents related to both areas.
- Maintain a statistical base of the accident and accident rate of both areas.
- Approve the PTS that are made for works of the area and that must be controlled by the leadership of the areas and control the contractors in charge of them.
- Participate in emergency drills and their subsequent evaluations.
- Lead compliance with integrated management system standards.
- Carry out the necessary observations and actions to keep up to date the environmental evaluations and measurements of occupational hygiene established in the respective legislation.
- Program, coordinate and control the environmental evaluations and measurements of occupational hygiene with the Peruvian law administrative body, preparing the plan to carry out the observations that may arise from their reports.
- Perform safety inspections and observations.
- Elaborate the improvement plan for the observations detected, request resources for engineering solutions or other safety devices.
- Attend and accompany the visits made by external agencies in the event of an audit and consider the observations made for their subsequent lifting.
- Perform hazard identification and risk assessments for the different processes of the IDC.
- Advise in the elaboration of the JSA and preparation of the JSP for the different activities of the operations area, forming the technical teams for the work, entering to the GENSUITE platform the resulting countermeasures as results of the evaluations, controlling their closure in the system.
- Execute the policies and measures defined by the organization, necessary to ensure the safety of employees and assets that are in their charge; as well as, for compliance with the quality standards established in the applicable legislation, regulations and good practices.
Who You Are
Professional with minimum proven experience in occupational health and safety in engineering career.
Knowledge of Peruvian legislation.
