RST Process Engineer

Introduction
Responsible for complying with and enforcing safety and quality standards, procedures and policies.

About the Role

The role of the RST Process Engineer is critical within Operations, as they prioritize and lead the team to reduce production, quality, and safety losses.

What You Will Do

1. ​Responsible for understanding the production process of their lines and, based on this, defining the standards to be followed on the production line.

2. Analyzes existing production processes and develops recommendations for changes in methods or operating sequences that minimize risks, costs, and waste; improves quality as well as the consistency of final products.

3. Establishes, supervises, and improves processes according to statistical control methodologies through the quality tools defined by the organization.

4. Responsible for training and coaching operators to comply with standards (NOM 241, NOM 13485) and established procedures.

5. Responsible for monitoring and closing activities related to CAPAs, Quality Deviations, Validation Processes, Change Controls, and PNC management.

6. Responsible for enforcing Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines.

7. Leads the CIL (cleaning, inspection, lubrication) and CL (centerline) systems and is responsible for ensuring compliance with operating procedures, work instructions, and operating specifications supported by the Quality Management System (QMS).

8. Establishes process priorities to meet objectives, determines standards, and integrates them into systems using RCA.

9. Ensures compliance with product specifications and participates in the development of new production processes by determining new standards and estimating the time requirements for each step.

Who You Are

University studies such as Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanics Engineering or similar, preferably with a degree.

Preferably 3+ years of experience in:

1. Operations / Manufacturing

2. Projects / Maintenance

3. Knowledge of NOM 241, NOM 13485

4. Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices

5. Participation in audits (ISO, COFEPRIS)

6. Intermediate English level
