Marketing Activation Manager
About the role
Is accountable for developing and implementing marketing plan and activities to activate agreed global and/or BU marketing strategies and plans within a local market or Region.
What You Will Do
Support delivery of local/regional financial targets by operationalizing BU marketing strategy (across Product Categories and Therapeutic Areas) in the local market
Partner with Sales director and controller to set local market/regional priorities and A&P budget, ensuring maximum return on investment
Lead, coach and develop the marketing organization in terms of structure, talent & capabilities
Enable Brand Manager(s) to drive activation of BU marketing strategy by brand in a local market
Secure local/regional market input to global brand strategies (innovation & assortment) via Brand Managers
Secure steering of brand and communications development as part of lead market model
Develop, manage and implement marketing plan and activities for assigned brands in line with global and/or BU guidelines.
Own alignment with local sales function to drive a full digital funnel approach and improve sales & marketing productivity, fully leveraging DME for scalable digital activities.
Facilitate close and effective collaboration with global teams (e.g. GBIS / GMI / Digital Marketing CoEs)
Manage key external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs, industry associations and 3rd party vendors)
Actively contribute as part of the local market leadership team or regional marketing team
Executes marketing plans according to brief from BMs across Brands and Channels
Is briefed by local BMs on marketing plans objectives, recommended touch points and A&P. In charge of media plan creation, execution and KPI follow up.
Supports sufficiency and accuracy of A&P allocation. Drives constructive dialogue with BM if A&P allocated is not sufficient based on Fewer, Bigger, Better approach
BTB, BTC and BTBTC marketing and media expert across Health and Medical channels
Provides channels and customers insights to local BMs
Partners with sales for synchronization of sales and marketing activities and execution at customers POS
Drives, together with sales, a full digital funnel approach and improves sales & marketing productivity, fully leveraging DME and CRM for scalable digital activities.
Drives customer education in line with global guidance and leveraging globally produced material (where applicable)
Drives marketing operation and sales support (where applicable e.g. sampling, POS production, website translation)
Who You Are
Professional in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related areas.
Desirable Postgraduate degree or specialization in Marketing or Business Administration.
At least 6 years in management positions with technical knowledge and defined competencies
Knowledge of marketing, project management, finance, sales channels, brand development, commercial, market measurement, consumer research and analytical skills.
Experience in Brand Building and execution B2B - B2C
Knowledge in FMCG or Health desirable
Experience in leading people and in networking across enterprise.
