We undertake life-cycle assessments to ensure resource-efficient production across our product range. This has helped us reduce the carbon footprint on our Ultra Towel menstrual pads, for example, by 14%.

Our Feminine Care brands strive to provide women with opportunities to choose the period product that best suits their lifestyle and respond to women’s diverse needs more sustainably. We developed a menstrual cup product range to provide 12-hour protection and its durability reduces waste.

In response to increasing market demand for reusable hygiene products, we began producing absorbent, washable underwear lines for incontinence management and menstrual care.

To further assist everyday people in staying safe and healthy amongst today’s health challenges, Essity has begun producing face masks in its retail and Professional Hygiene businesses.
